About Denpasar International Airport

Denpasar International Airport, also known as Ngurah Rai International Airport, is the main airport in Bali, located 13 km south of Denpasar. Ngurah Rai is the third busiest airport in Indonesia after Soekarno–Hatta International Airport and Juanda International Airport. In 2011 Ngurah Rai International Airport recorded 39,509 international and 64,262 domestic flights which carried 6,177,044 and 6,594,830 passengers respectively. The 2011 passengers were doubled within 5 years. The airport has category IX and is capable of serving aircraft up to the size of Boeing 747-400.

The airport is named after I Gusti Ngurah Rai, a Balinese hero who died on 20 November 1946 in a puputan (fight to the death war) against the Dutch at Marga in Tabanan where the Dutch defeated his company with air support, killing Rai and 95 others during the Indonesian Revolution in 1946.

We depart after breakfast for Barong Dance performance. From there we then continue to Kintamani with its cool breeze and breathtaking view of the still active Mount Batur and it is crater lake. We then continue our visit to Besakih Temple, Mother Temple of Bali.  Lunch will be served at Mahagiri restaurant.

Finally, we will be off to Penglipuran Village; traditional countryside that boasts unique characteristics of life, socializing and culture.

About Kintamani Volcano

Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. The south east side of the larger 10×13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5-kilometer-wide caldera, which was formed during emplacement of the Bali (or Ubud) ignimbrite, has been dated at about 23,670 and 28,500 years ago.

Besakih Temple

Pura Besakih is a temple complex in the village of Besakih on the slopes of Mount Agung in eastern Bali, Indonesia. It is the most important, the largest and holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali, and one of a series of Balinese temples. Perched nearly 1000 meters up the side of Gunung Agung, it is an extensive complex of 23 separate but related temples with the largest and most important being Pura Penataran Agung. The temple is built on six levels, terraced up the slope. The entrance is an formed by a Candi Bentar (split gateway), and beyond it the Kori Agung is the gateway to the second courtyard.

About Batukaru Temple

Pura Luhur Batukaru is a Hindu temple in Tabanan, Bali, Indonesia. Located on the southern slope of Mount Batukaru, Bali’s second-highest volcano, the temple is one of nine kayangan jagat (directional temples) meant to protect Bali from evil spirits. Originally built during the 11th century, Pura Luhur Batukaru was dedicated to the ancestors of the rajas of Tabanan. It was destroyed in 1604, but rebuilt in 1959. The temple’s most important shrine is a 7-tiered meru dedicated to Mahadewa, the God of Mount Batukaru.

Today, Pura Luhur Batukaru remains an extremely sacred site for Bali’s Hindu population. Many of the complex’s grounds remain off-limits to visitors for various ceremonies and events throughout the year. The temple is also the first stop one must take before ascending to the summit of Mount Batukaru. A pilgrimage takes place to the peak once a year, and may see thousands of worshipers walk its trails at once.

Lovina – North Bali Tour (Breakfast is included)

Visit the numerous sites of the area such as Singaraja Morning market, Brahmavihara-Arama or commonly known as Wihara Buddha Banjar, which is the biggest Buddhist Vihara in Bali, Banjar Hot springs. Then after we have lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit Lontar library before returning to our hotel.

About Lovina Beach

Lovina Beach is a coastal area on the northwestern side of the island of Bali, Indonesia. The coastal strip stretches from 5 km west of the city of Singaraja to 15 km west. Singaraja is the seat of Buleleng Regency. The Lovina area contains the small villages (from east to west) of Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Anturan, Banyualit, Kalibukbuk, Kaliasem and Temukus. It is becoming more popular with tourists but remains far quieter than the tourist hotspots of the island’s south side.

The area takes its name from a home owned by Pandji Tisna (1908-1978), a Regent of Buleleng and pioneer of tourism to Bali in the early 1950s.

Popular activities for visitors include diving, snorkeling, and early-morning boat trips off the coast to see dolphins. These dolphin siting trips usually last about two hours.

Lovina – East Bali(Breakfast and lunch is included)

Depart after breakfast to the north with stops en-route in Pura Beji, Kintamani with Lake Batur, Volcanic Museum, and stop for lunch at local restaurant.

After lunch we drive to visit coffee plantations and then Penglipuran Village; traditional countryside owning unique characteristics of life, socializing and culture, Kehen Temple, one of ancient temples in Bali, is located at the south of Bangli in Cempaga village. In the afternoon arrive and check in at hotel in Candidasa

About Lovina

Lovina is a relatively new name coined in the 1950s by the late king of Buleleng (Buleleng Regency) Anak Agung Panji Tisna, with a good eye for future tourism-based development. It started with small lodge built on his own land and named Lovina. After going through struggle of ups and downs, finally the community accepted the presence of Lovina. Nowadays the name Lovina is used for the stretch of seven traditional villages, which all slightly merge into one over ten kilometersof the main road which hugs the north coast to the west of Singaraja: Temukus, Kalibukbuk, Anturan, Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Banyualit and Kaliasem. Kalibukuk is the main hub of this area and is often thought of “Lovina town centre”.

Candidasa – Sidemen Hidden Trekking (Breakfast and lunch included)

We leave the hotel early morning, by 08.00 am, to enjoy trekking through one of most beautiful region. We will travel to Sidemen, which is known to be very pastier religion. Trekking will begin at Dukuh Village. Through the trip, we will pass a panoramic view of rice terrace and the hills. We will spend approximately two and half an hour trekking before back to hotel.

About Sidemen

Bali’s Sidemen (pronounced Si-da-men) sprawls across an enchanting valley and not only offers a magnificent landscape of terraced hills overshadowed by Gunung Agung, but here you can connect with traditional village life and recharge away from the trappings of the tourist hustle and bustle elsewhere.

Despite the overdevelopment on the island this unique area in east Bali still has the feeling as if not much has changed. The small villages are surrounded by rice fields and agricultural land while people still tend to their fields, prepare ceremonies at the temples and head to the rivers for a bath towards the end of the day. All under the watchful eye of the impressive and sacred Mount Agung.

Candi Dasa – Kerta Gosa – Nyoman Gunarsa Museum (Breakfast and lunch included)

After breakfast, we will first stop to see traditional Salt making process at Kusamba beach, Goa lawah; bat cave temple then to Kertagosa for 18th century hall of justice. We will then continue to Kamasan traditional village known for its puppet paintings and, silver and chopper handicrafts. The Balinese puppet, Wayang, is a media for religious education as well as a mode of entertainment, through its epic stories, then continue to Tihingan Village is known as the producer of Gamelan, traditional music instruments made from bronze or copper, used for escorting Balinese dances and some ritual ceremonies. The villagers are descendant of Pande family. There are experts in metal related business. Tihingan’s gamelan is a well-known brand nationwide, for its special tone and appearance. Visitors can learn to play it at Gamelan studio around nearby the village temple. After lunch we will visit Nyoman Gunarsa Museaum; This museum was built to honor the famous and powerful king Dalam Waturenggong who protected Bali from Muslim influences. It is home to a large collection of classical and contemporary Balinese artwork and work of the founder, Dr. Nyoman Gunarsa. A selection of masks, puppets, ceramics, and stone carvings dates from the 17th to 19th century.

About Kerta Gosa

Kertha Gosa means – “the place where the king meets with his ministries to discuss questions of justice.” The story of Bhima Swarga is elaborate and all-embracing. Bhima Swarga in Balinese means, “Bhima goes to the abode of the gods.” Swarga literally means to any place where the gods happen to reside, Heaven or Hell.

Bhima, the second oldest of the five Pandava brothers, is forced by his mother Kunti with the mission to rescue from Hell the souls of his earthly father Pandu, and his second mother, Madri. After saving Pandu and Madri from Hell, Bhima must secure them for Heaven. Throughout Bhima’s journey to Heaven and Hell he is accompanied by his two loyal servants (the clown characters). These made up characters are highly important to the story Bhima Swarga because the ordinary Balinese can relate to the characters in the story Bhima Swarga because the characters represent ordinary Bali.

Bali Safari & Marine Park offers a fun day out, and serves as one of the island’s largest and most visited animal theme parks which opened its gates in 2007. The Bali Safari & Marine Park was established by Taman Safari Indonesia; covering 40 hectares of land in the Gianyar regency. It is home to over 60 species, all of which roam free in large enclosures that mimic their natural habitats.

Enjoy riding on a safari bus to visit the animals, watching fascinating elephant talent shows, get cuddly with baby orangutans, and view baby sharks at the aquarium. Families travelling with children will have a blast together at the adjacent water and amusement parks.

We leave after breakfast and head to Tanah Lot temple. From there we go to Taman Ayun, a Unesco reconized heritage Royal Family Temple of Mengwi. After lunch we will continue our trip to visit Badung, a traditional market, the Bajra Sandi Monument and then the tour will be continue to  Uluwatu temple for Kecak Dance and enjoy Balinese seafood dinner at Jimbaran bay before heading back to the hotel.

Tanah Lot sunset time is the best view that can be enjoyed when visiting this one of the most visited tourist attractions in Bali. Tanah Lot Bali is also called Bali temple in the sea because it looks like floating in the sea when high tide.
