About Jakarta International Airport

Jakarta International Airport, also known as Soekarno–Hatta International is the primary airport serving the Greater Jakarta area on the island of Java, Indonesia. Named after the first president and vice-president of Indonesia, Soekarno and Mohammad Hatta, the airport is located in Benda, Tangerang, approximately 20 km northwest of central Jakarta. Due to its proximity to the suburb of Cengkareng, the airport is also known as Cengkareng Airport; hence assigned three-letter IATA designator: “CGK”. The airport was the busiest and the largest airport in Indonesia and was the 18th busiest airport in the world.

Jakarta City Tour – Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (Breakfast and dinner included)

After breakfast, we depart for the National Museum. This is going to be a very busy day as we go from one site to another. Sites we will be visiting are the Merdeka Square, Istiqlal Mosque, Independence Statue, Catholic Cathedral, President/Meredeka Palace and a 2 hour visit to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.

After that, we stop and visit The Kota Tua or old city of Jakarta and Sunda Kelapa Harbor.

Finally, we will do a 1-hour photo stop at the Bogor Botanical and do a at the Puncak pas.

About Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) or “Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park” is a culture-based recreational area located in East Jakarta, Indonesia. It has an area of about 250 acres. The park is a synopsis of Indonesian culture, with virtually all aspects of daily life in Indonesian provinces encapsulated in separate pavilions with the collections of Indonesian architecture, clothing, dances and traditions are all depicted impeccably.

Apart from that, there is a lake with a miniature of the archipelago in the middle of it, cable cars, museums, Keong Emas Imax cinema, a theater called the Theatre of My Homeland (Theater Tanah Airku) and other recreational facilities which make TMII one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city.

Yogyakarta – Ramayana Dance Performance (Breakfast and dinner included)

After an early morning breakfast, at 5:00 am, we shall depart from hotel for a day trip to Mount Tangkuban Perahu Volcano and then to the Ciater Hot Springs.

We then drive back to Bandung and transfer to the Husain Sastranegara Airport for your flight to Yogyakarta by Lion Air, with an etd. of 2:25 pm. We are expected to arrive in Jogyakarta by 3:35 pm.

Upon arrival at the Adi Sucipto Airport of Yogyakarta, we head straight for a visit to the Prambanan Temple. Then we walk to the Prambanan Garden Restaurant for an early dinner, around 6:00 pm.

After dinner, we will walk to Open-air Theatre to see the Ramayana Dance performance where we a special class seating reservation. This will be a 2-hour performance and you will love every minute of it.

About Ramayana Dance

Ramayana Dance is based on an epic Hindu poem, the story of model king Rama was adapted to become an important local dance, encompassing the Javanese style, culture and music. Whilst the story originated in India, the Javanese version is truly representative of the local art and culture.

In the evenings, this ballet comes to life, enacted by over 200 professional dancers and musicians on an open air stage that takes advantage of the Prambanan Temples as a backdrop.

The story revolves around the duties of relationships; the qualities of the ideal wife, king, brother and servant.  Gods, mortals, giants, monkeys and beautiful women all come together to tell the colourful story of a courtship punctuated by a kidnapping and battles.

Yogyakarta– Keraton Yogyakarta Palace (Breakfast and dinner included)

After breakfast, we will head out to visit the Borobudur Temple. This is also going to be a busy day. From here, we will head out to visit the Mendut and Pawon Temples. Then we proceed to visit the Keraton Yogyakarta Palace. And then, our last stop of the day will be the Taman Sari Water Castle.

About Mendut and Pawon Temples

Pawon (known locally as Candi Pawon) is a Buddhist temple in Central Java, Indonesia. Located between two other Buddhist temples, Borobudur – 1.75 km to the northeast, and Mendut – 1.15 km to the southwest. Pawon is connected with the other two temples, all of which were built during the Sailendra dynasty (8th–9th centuries). From examining the details and style of its carving, this temple is slightly older than Borobudur.

The three temples were located on a straight line, suggesting there was a symbolic meaning that binds these temples.

Between Mendut and Borobudur stands Pawon temple, a jewel of Javanese temple architecture. Most probably, this temple served to purify the mind prior to ascending Borobudur.

Yogyakarta to Bromo (Breakfast and dinner included)

After breakfast, we will head out for a visit to the Mankunegaran Palace of Solo. We will then travel by bus to Bromo; about 9 to10 hour journey.

About Mangkunegaran Palace

Mangkunegaran is a small hereditary Duchy located within the region of Surakarta in Indonesia. It was established in 1757 by Raden Mas Said, when he submitted his army to Pakubuwono III in February, and swore allegiance to the rulers of Surakarta, Yogyakarta, and the Dutch East Indies Company, and was given an appanage of 4000 households.

The Palace of the rulers of Mangkunegaran was established by Raden Mas Said who signed a treaty with the Dutch East India Company (VOC) in 1757. By virtue of the treaty, he became the ruler of a part of Eastern Mataram and was henceforth known as Mangkunegara I. Known as Pura Mangkunegaran, the palace is located in the center of the city of Solo.

Bromo Sunrise (Breakfast and dinner included)

Wake-up call will be at 4:30 am. After a hot cup of tea, we will promptly depart for Mount Bromo, by jeep, to witness an awe inspiring sunrise from Penanjakan Hill and Mount Bromo Crater

Afterwards. we drive to Kalibaru via countryside roads through a beautiful plantation landscape.

About Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Gunung Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2,329 metres, it is not the highest peak of the massif, but is the most well known. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name of Bromo is derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god. Sulfur is collected from inside the caldera by workers.

Mount Bromo sits in the middle of a plain called the “Sea of Sand”, a protected nature reserve since 1919. The typical way to visit Mount Bromo is from the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang. From there it is possible to walk to the volcano in about 45 minutes, but it is also possible to take an organised jeep tour, which includes a stop at the viewpoint on Penanjakan Hill.

Kalibaru – Ubud Palace (Breakfast, lunch and diner included)

After an early breakfast at hotel, 5:30 am, we will head out to visit the Kalibaru Plantation. We then proceed to the Ketapang Harbor to catch a ferry to Bali Gilimanuk Harbor

Upon arrival, we will pass through Lovina and Singaraja city and will visit some places in Bali; Bedugul Botanical Garden, Ulun Danu Temple with Lake Beratan

We will also be visiting Ubud Palace to watch a performance of Kecak Dance. After the performance, we head to our hotel, check-in and enjoy dinner.

Ubud, is the most visited part of Bali by both local and foreign tourists. Ubud, Bali, tourist attraction has made many visitors astonished and always want to get back again.

Ubud is known for its art and culture shows, such as painting, sculpture, carving and Balinese dance such as Kecak Dance.

Many tourists who come to Ubud are attracted to watch a Kecak Dance performance. Kecak Dance is also known as Ubud Kecak Fire Dance.

Ubud – Full Day Tour (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

After breakfast, at 9:00 am, we will leave our hotel and drive to the Neka Art Museum. From there we will proceed to the Mas Village for handy craft, Celuk; silver and gold village. After lunch we will visit the Royal Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi. From there we will be off to the Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest.

Our final stop of the day will be witness to a spectacular sunset form Tanah Lot Temple. We will have dinner at the Warung Made Seminyak.

About Ubud Monkey Forest

The Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and Hindu temple complex in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Its official name is the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Balinese Mandala Suci Wenara Wana), and its name as written on its welcome sign is the Padangtegal Mandala Wisata Wanara Wana Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. The Ubud Monkey Forest is a popular tourist attraction and is often visited by over 10,000 tourists a month.

The Monkey Forest lies within the village of Padangtegal, which owns it. The village’s residents view the Monkey Forest as an important spiritual, economic, educational, and conservation center for the village.

Nusa Dua– Full Day Kintamani Tour (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

After breakfast, we will drive to the Goa Gajah Temple. We will then drive through the Tegallalang rice paddies and continue to Tirta Empul temple

We will then drive to Kintamani for lunch and visit Mount Batur with its volcano and Lake Batur. After lunch, we will visit the Besakih Temple and then on to the Kerta Gosa Royal Court of Klungkung

 

About Klungkung Palace

The Klungkung Palace, officially Puri Agung Semarapura, is a historical building complex situated in Semarapura, the capital of the Klungkung Regency in Bali, Indonesia. The palace was erected at the end of the 17th century, but was largely destroyed during the Dutch colonial conquest in 1908. Today the basic remains of the palace are the court of justice, the Kertha Gosa Pavilion, and the main gate that bears the date Saka 1622 (AD 1700). Within the old palace compound is also a floating pavilion, the Bale Kembang. The descendants of the rajas that once ruled Klungkung, today live in Puri Agung, a residence to the west of the old palace, which was built after 1929.
